Although it was the most-watched show overall, the return of Desperate Housewives got off to a slow start. CBS’ Masters overrun didn’t help matters either.  In the end, the Alphabet network came away with both the viewers and the demos.

The introduction of two new (yet old) shows on NBC did little to help the network.  ABC once again won the Sunday demos and came close to surpassing CBS with the viewers.

Although last night’s numbers were a bit confusing - CBS’ NCAA coverage caused show overlaps in parts of the country - it appears ABC managed to pull out another Sunday win.  The network was first in both the viewers and the demos.

Sunday Ratings:  Grammys Fail to Entertain

Last night’s Grammys telecast failed to strike a chord with viewers.  (Only two other broadcasts in Grammy history have achieved lower numbers.)  Regardless, the awards show still gave a decisive win in the viewers and demos.
